Kyle was now on his way to laboratory, excited about finally getting his first official pokemon. But when he was just a couple of meters away, he stopped. It could have been that finally realizing that he could fulfill what he wanted took a shock to him. He wondered if this was what he truly wanted. "Of coarse it is" said a mysterious voice, Kyle chose to ignore the vioce. He stared blankly at the lab doors. Thinking of what could be inside. A voice behind his head nagged him "You'll find out when you go inside" said the voice with a playful tone. Kyle ignored the voice again, not at all wondering why there was a voice in his head.
He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. "Don't be nervous" said the voice again. True, Kyle was getting nervous by the second. He took another breath and held it, after a moment, he let it out again. He stared at the door blankly once more. Is this what I really want to do?, he asked himself. "Everything is all about taking risks, you just have to do , what you have to do" said the voice simply. He took heed to these words and he knocked at the door three times, he added another for extra measure

'Another one?' The Professor thought. The blonde haired girl awnsered the door. "Hello, here for a pokemon I presume?" She said, thinking in her mind..... 'I guess trainers are back on the hunt.....but...why now?'

"Yes I am" he replied dully. He examined the professor for a moment, perhaps to make sure that she could be trusted but then a thought occured to him. It wouldn't have mattered if she was the real thing or not as long as she gave him his pokemon. He stared at her absent-mindedly before clearing his throat. "May I come in?" he asked, a touch forced kindness lingered.

"Of course of course. There is no need for introductions." She ushered the boy in. She opened some cabneints inside that cased hiuhndreds of pokeballs. "What pokemon do you have in mind? We have a pretty wide variety...."

He went in silently, glancing at the Laboratory, trying to identify what was which. He stopped looking around once the Professor addressed him. He hadn't thought much about the pokemon he had wanted. He did have a small fancy for fire-pokemon, he couldn't bring himself for asking for an eevee, they were too rare and it reminded him grievly(sp?) of his old eevee. Yet, even when he narrowed choice to fire-pokemon he found that it was still a long list to go through. Perhaps another type would help whispered the voice from earlier. But which one? he asked the voice inquiringly. Try a dark-type,they are seldom to have such pokemon of quantity replied the voice. He might as well have tried, he then asked the Professor "Do you have a pokemon that is both fire and dark type?"

"Professor Kamura, they're asking for you in the back," said a woman, walking into the room. While the other professor hurried off, the newcomer, professor Arionne, turned to Kyle. "So... dark and fire? Hm... nope, sorry kid. We do have a good number of fire pokemon though... just none that's also dark..."

(( I yearn for houndour 0.o *cry* Ok, moments over ))
They don't have any dark-types, eh? said the voice in disgust. Kyle smirked, he didn't think that they would have any, since they were rare for one thing. "Then what fire pokemon do you have?" he asked inquiringly. He was hoping that there would be a nice strong fire-type, powerful enough to protect him from other pokemon. Then he remembered that it was he who was suppose to make the pokemon stronger than it could be. He felt stupid just thinking of it. He thought he heard the voice laugh at him.

"Well..." the professoe thought about it for a moment. "Cyndaquil, Charmander, Torchic, and... Hikozaru." As she named them, a screen behind her flashed a picture of the pokemon in question. "Take your pick."

He began to think of which pokemon would be best. Of course they were all strong, but then which one had the most advantage. He took out the cyndaquil, seeing as it was the only one that had one type, even when it evolve. He asked the voice, which one should I pick? but it gave no reply.
"I'll take the Hikozaru"

He thanked the Professor and took the Hikozaru's pokeball as well as the starter pack. As soon as he placed the starter pack in his bag and the Hikozaru's pokeball in his pocket and thanking the Professor again, he left the Lab.
